Hit the Stage with Tim Bray Youth Theatre

We are excited to be offering our Hit the Stage! workshops these school holidays. A performance deep dive, where students get to create and stage an original performance in this 5 day holiday escape. For 7 -10 year olds, 5-9 October at TAPAC in Western Springs.

Our Term 4 Youth Theatre classes start on Monday 12 October and what a journey our students have had this year! It was amazing to witness the performances develop in response to our set theme Voices of children and young people to COVID-19 and how resourceful the students and our tutors have been through this uncertain time. It was saddening that then our annual Youth Theatre performances on Sunday 20 September had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 level restrictions as the students and tutors had been creating and rehearsing them since the end of term 2. Some of the classes managed small studio performances or shared their creations via Zoom to their families.
