GRIDLEY by Victoria and Horse With No Name presents
Flora, Fauna and Friends
For one day only, a magical bunch of flora and fauna will be frolicking with you and your tamariki. Come along to this free event to discover moments of fun and joy, and to learn a little something about our native critters. The one big event for children this New Zealand Fringe Festival, Flora, Fauna and Friends is a celebration of Aotearoa’s feathery and flowery friends!
Kōwhai, Kiwi, and Kuīni Pī (bee) will be there, along with eleven other colorful characters. Join them for the whole day, or just pop in to say kia ora! The event will begin at 11.00am, with a variety of entertaining activities for children to choose from. At midday, we will all come together to share dancing, waiata, stories and mindfulness. Afterwards, there is an opportunity for kids to meet a few more of our flora and fauna before the event wraps up at 2.00pm.
An event full of delight and fun, Flora, Fauna and Friends is a day out for the whole family to enjoy. Be sunsmart, and bring along some snacks to munch and crunch in the shade of Tangi-te-keo. The Innermost Gardens is a working community garden, perfect for tamariki aged 3-8 to explore with their caregivers.
Brought to you by Wellington Theatre Awards 2021 Costume Designer of the Year GRIDLEY by Victoria, Playmarket’s Plays for the Young 2022 winners Horse With No Name, and the wonderful team from Fairy Cat and Friends, comes an enchanting, interactive experience for the young and young and heart.
